About Streako

Why Streako exists

Most habit trackers ask you to tick a box. That works until the day you tick it without doing the thing, and from then on the streak number means very little. Streako was built to fix that one weakness: a streak should only advance when something can show the habit really happened.

How it works

You choose a habit and a daily window, for example "water the plants, 6:00 to 6:15 PM". At a random moment inside that window your phone pings you. You have 90 seconds to take a quick burst of three photos. A vision model checks that you are doing the activity and returns a yes or no with a confidence score. The photos are then discarded.

If the first attempt is unclear you get one re-capture before the check fails. Verification is tuned to give you the benefit of the doubt, because a bad angle or a blink should not cost you a streak.

What we believe

• Proof beats promises. A streak you can verify is worth more than one you can only claim.
• Privacy is part of the product. A few frames are sent for a check and never stored. We keep a verdict, a timestamp and a confidence score, nothing else.
• Honest about limits. Listed activities ship only after they pass our benchmark. Custom activities are labelled experimental.
• No human audience. There is no partner to coordinate with and no feed to perform for. The check is the accountability.

The mascot is a small flame, also called Streako. It starts as an ember, grows as your streak grows, and goes out when the streak breaks.

Where things stand

Streako is being built as one app for iPhone and Android. This website is a preview and a place to join the launch list. Spot-checks run only on the phone. Say hello at hello@streako.pro.
